Meta Is Rolling Out A New Post Preview Feature On

Instagram, the popular photo and video-sharing platform, is rolling out a new grid feature that allows users to preview their posts before publishing them to the public. Sounds interesting, right?

Instagram is rolling out a new post-preview feature

Currently, Instagram users can view their posts on their grid only after it is published. With the introduction of the preview post feature, users can view their posts beforehand, make the necessary tweaks or adjustments, and then publish them in their final form.

Previously, users had to use third-party apps to create grid photos to post on Instagram. For the unversed, the grid feature breaks a photo into multiple posts, forming a cohesive and bigger picture on the user’s profile when posted all combined.

The new Instagram grid feature will help users to do this directly from the app without the need for any third-party apps or additional tools.

Currently, Meta is testing the new Instagram grid feature with a select number of people who have the latest version of the app installed. As of now, there is no official announcement as to when the feature will become available to all users.

Enable Instagram’s new post-preview feature

  1. Go to the Play Store and update your Instagram app to the latest version, if available.
  2. Then, open the app to create a post.
  3. If you are able to view the new grid option, the feature is available for use.

If you are unable to view the feature, you will have to wait for it until it is made available to everyone.
